Branding Design
In my spare time, I continuously work to improve my skills in concept art, client background research, and trend analysis. I challenged myself to produce written briefs for fictional companies that prompted the creation of various branding. This exercise involved conceiving visual identities for logos and allowed me to also explore my use of typography in graphics:

'GRUBBER GAMES' LOGO
A cheerful animated logo made for a video game studio, encouraging excitement with bold block text for a child-like flair. The bouncy, lively movement emphasises this feeling.
Design Brief:
As an eager startup company formed by university students, my group and I wanted our logo to match our energy. My team member's initial character design was made to appear endearing, innocent, and quirky, which inspired the 'jumping for joy' animation I decided to portray. The team's name wraps around the character's rounded shape to unify all elements of the logo, with each letter crashing into each other hectically as they appear. To improve aesthetics, I felt purple text would complement the character's primarily green colour palette, as well as match the secondary colours of mauve and dark blue.

RAPTOR RESCUE LOGO
A sleek, formal duotone design using standardised Pantone colours. It features a bird in flight with an accompanying sans-serif font, underlined to convey swift movement.

WINGSPAN RESCUE is a family run business supported by countless hardworking, compassionate people with a dream to inspire, educate, and bring healing to the world. Located amongst the breathtaking scenery of Scotland, we have consistently provided a safe space for the rehabilitation of birds of prey since our establishment in 1997. Here, these awe-inspiring animals remain protected within an environment that reflects their natural habitat, where they can regain their strength and learn how to survive before potential release back into the wild. All injured and sick animals are carefully tended to by our qualified professionals with over 30 years of experience handling raptors of all kinds. For the few who are unable to make a full recovery, they will find their forever home with us. We hope that as we continue to grow over the years, more will come to discover the importance of protecting these beautiful creatures.
Taking inspiration from existing animal rescue shelters, we would like to receive an updated version of our logo, which features our name prominently and proudly. Raptor iconography must also remain a key feature of the design, with our current brand depicting the gorgeous peregrine falcon as part of Scotland’s natural heritage. Our priority at WINGSPAN RESCUE has always been to maintain the highest standard of professionalism when handling our animals, which is reflected within our company branding.

BAR & RESTAURANT LOGO
The aged ferret depicts a patchy, worn effect that is created through its fur textures, resembling a scratchy and weathered appearance. The recognisable silhouette and classic text with faded tones will fit amongst rustic scenery. The chosen side profile allows the design to be used as part of a horizontal banner.

Our diverse menus offer a taste suited for all to enjoy within a pleasant, immersive setting. Experience the fantastic sounds from our talented live bands and feel at home amongst the fabulous décor.
'The Old Ferret' provides comfy rustic scenery like no other, and we want our company logo to convey this to our customers. We require a neutral palette featuring a depiction of a ferret as the primary focus. We want our name present on the logo and written in an eloquent manner. It must be made to be suitable as a banner for desktop and mobile, as our website will be available on multiple platforms to attract a wider audience.

DOG GROOMERS LOGO
The friendly face of a golden retriever, surrounded by a decorative border of bubbles. The design is playful yet subdued, with a handwritten font type for a personal touch.

The health and wellbeing of your furry friend is essential to us and drives our commitment to producing sustainable products and tools for an innovative, professional pamper. We strive for clear communication with our customers and offer guidance that will support you going forward as a pet owner.
We need a personalised logo that shows our compassionate nature through an inviting aesthetic. Our dedicated florists harbour an admirable passion for their craft, creating many stunning bouquets for hundreds of happy customers. Let us make exciting events brighter and the tough times easier. Put your trust in our graceful collection.
As 'Blue Sea Florist' begins to establish its name, a strong branding is needed to set us apart from the rest and show what makes us special. We would like for the blue sea theme to remain a prevalent motif through both colour choice and logo design to allude to the company name. Simplicity should be maintained with a sense of softness in the features of the artwork.

We designed everything with speed in mind to give you a responsive, intuitive app that offers hundreds of customisation options for your imaginative clips!

Allie Bird currently produces a collection of necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings adorned with dazzling emblems of a wide variety of birds as our own bespoke products.
